Autopista del Norte committed to user and local community safety

  • This course on defensive driving and traffic safety was taught to more than 70 transporters, who use Network No. 4

  • More than 200 school students in Virú have completed a traffic education course with the participation of teachers and their parents

This initiative is part of an awareness campaign launched by Autopista del Norte amongst the neighboring population of Network No. 4.

The aim is to help them assimilate basic concepts of driving and road traffic, as well as practicing citizenship and awareness values in day-to-day situations arising in this key network.

The event has been backed up by the Regional Management of Transport and Communications of La Libertad and the National Council for Road Safety.

Course on defensive driving and road safety for transporters

Last April, Autopista del Norte also arranged a free course on defensive driving and road safety in the events hall of the Provincial Municipality of Virú.

The event was attended by more than 70 public and private transport conductors in the area, who were informed about the importance of acting responsibly and following traffic signs, thus preventing local accidents.

This course is part of a road education campaign launched by Autopista del Norte amongst the neighboring population of Network No. 4. In Virú’s case, it was backed up by the National Council for Road Safety and the Provincial Municipality of Virú.

In this way, Autopista del Norte is reaffirming its commitment to continue working in favor of all its users, encouraging responsibility and road safety culture.
