Autopista del Norte carries out works to release interference in the section of the Chimbote bypass

Autopista del Norte has been carried out in the Carbonera drain, located between kilometers 4 and 5 of the Chimbote bypass, in the south to north direction.

These works will allow the end of the interference on the first 10 kilometers of the road, corresponding to the first stage of the project, allowing the delivery of land by the Ministry of Transport and Communications for the start of the works.

The Chimbote bypass is a 40-kilometer dual-carriage project that begins at kilometer 415 of the Pan-American Highway, at the height of the future Vesique traffic circle and extends to kilometer 453, at the height of the future Campo Nuevo traffic circle. Its execution will benefit the population of the north of the country and especially Chimbote, with a reduction in travel times, reduction of pollution and reduction of accidents in the area.

In addition to the construction of the first 10 kilometers, the first stage of the project will include the construction of 2 bridges over the Santa and Lacramarca rivers, of 305 and 40 meters in length respectively.

In this way, Autopista del Norte reaffirms its commitment to continue working with the development and implementation of road projects for the benefit of users of the toll road.
