Aleatica, a leading global transportation infrastructure operator, has presented its 2024 Annual Sustainability Report, entitled “Transforming routes, transforming lives.” This report reflects the company’s commitment to generating a positive impact in the communities where it operates and consolidating its position as a benchmark in environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in Latin America and Europe.
As part of its journey towards carbon neutrality, the company is committed to environmental sustainability, seeking to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030. By the end of 2024, the company reduced emission levels by 33% compared to 2019. Today, 60% of the electricity consumed by its operations comes from renewable sources.
In the social sphere, Aleatica implemented 43 projects in the seven countries where it operates, with a total investment of €6,691,289. With Safety as its top priority, the company installed new containment barriers and clearer signage and rumble strips, reducing by 30% fatalities related to road collisions.
It is worth noting that the company obtained a certification from the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) for eight of its concessions in Mexico, Chile, Spain and Italy, and it is the first company to obtain this recognition in several countries.

For Aleatica, it is important that its suppliers also commit to a sustainability agenda, and for this reason, the company integrates ESG criteria into all its purchasing processes. In addition, 97% of its suppliers are local, which contributes to the prosperity and economic development of the regions where we operate.
With regard to diversity and inclusion (DEI) issues, based on an assessment carried out in 2023, Aleatica is implementing a strategy based on three priority areas: gender, multiculturalism and functional diversity. In 2024, 45% of new hires were women, and the gender pay gap was reduced by 11%, an improvement of 4 points over the previous year.
In terms of governance, Aleatica strengthened its internal compliance framework by updating its policies on donations, sponsorships and interactions with authorities. Nearly 2,700 employees were trained in anti-corruption issues and 99% of the administrative staff received cybersecurity certifications.
